F.E.A.S.T.–Family (Family Engagement & Applied Skills Training) is a non-clinical, caregiver-focused program offered through S.L.A.T.E. Family Services LLC (for-profit) and Slate Family Services Foundations (non-profit) that empowers parents and caregivers through education, coaching, and practical skill-building.
F.E.A.S.T.–Family is available to:
For families of young adults in the AL (18+) program, F.E.A.S.T.–Family operates as a for-profit, non-state-covered support service and is not reimbursable through DDCS/DDA services.
Participation is offered through private pay, with sliding-scale options and limited waiver support available to promote access and equity.
F.E.A.S.T.–Family is designed to complement—not replace—state-funded services by strengthening caregiver capacity, improving communication, and supporting skill generalization across home and community settings.
F.E.A.S.T.–Family is non-clinical in nature and does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or behavioral health treatment. Services are educational and supportive and are not billed through Medicaid or insurance.
We welcome community partners, sponsors, and families who are interested in supporting or participating in F.E.A.S.T.–Family programming. Please contact S.L.A.T.E. Family Services for additional information.
